I have been diagnosed to have Rheumatod Arthrits recently. I am on tab folitrax, hydroquin.

How long is the course of these medicines? How early can I expect relief of pain?

The anti- arthritis medications; i.e. folitrax (Methotrexate) & Hydroquin (hydroxychloroquine) generally take about 6- 8 weeks for their effect. You can, therefore, expect relief of symptoms by 6-8 weeks.

It is difficult to tell you the exact duration of the anti arthritis medicines. It would vary from one individual to another. The aim while treating RA is to control the disease activity without analgesics.
